Glaamour School of Fashion & Interiors (GFI) CHROMA 2019- Fashion Show and Interior Exhibition was held at Swabhumi.

Annual Fashion show – Chroma 2019 saw the presence of Ushoshi Sengupta – winner of I am She-Miss Universe India who set the ramp on fire with dresses made by the top three passing out students.

Chroma 2019 showcased the rich textile and craft heritage of India. Fabrics like denim, chiffon, crepe, silk, leather, suedeand knit had been used.

A variety of silhouettes for instance circular skirts, palazzos, gowns, A-line dresses, variation of corsets, straight pants, jackets etc are there. A lot of embellishments done with fabric fraying, 3D floral embroidery, layering and hand painting were also used.

Inspirations for the sequences have been chosen from Green House, Bohemian, Betta Fish, Victorian wallpaper etc. These were judged under different categories like Best Design collection, Creative & Commercial Design, Theme Interpretation, Accessory Design amongst others.

The students graduating this year were Shrayasee Burman, Sushmita Saha, Saikat Das, Moumita Paul, Samma Parveen, Zarqua Ayub and Sumita Debnath.
