Beer and dine spot Ølterra opened its outlet in Park Street, Kolkata. Ølterra in Greek means ‘The Land of Beer’ (Øl means Land & Terra, Beer).

The outlet is spread across a 13,000 sq. ft area and intended at creating a contemporary and lively space for the patrons. Designed & conceptualized by Sumessh Menon– the space is a tribute to the Greek spirit of revelry and enjoyment. Composed of a mix of both indoor & outdoor seating, the indoor area (spread across 9000 sq ft) houses a large screen for screenings, booths for private outings or parties. The centerpiece of the place is a 100-foot long floating bar. The outside, has wrought iron tables, caged lighting, and greenery.

The menu consists of delicacies like “Edible Lava coal”, “Chicken Tikka Ala Kiev”, “Moroccan slow-cooked Lamb”, “Water chestnut & edamame Galouti” and many more.

The USP of the place is that it is one of the most spacious brewpubs in Kolkata.

The well-designed bar has wines, whisky, and beers, delicate global spirits, and liqueurs. There are cocktails on offer too. Some of the signature cocktails on the menu include “Optimistic”, “Have a New York Sour”, “Smoked Manhattan”, and “Agave Negroni”. In the near future, Ølterra also houses a microbrewery setup that will be launched.
