Great news for the Bengali film viewing audience!! SVF, Dhrubo Banerjee and Dev Adhikari will be joining hands to bring alive a unique piece of Indian / Bengal history on celluloid. This will be Dhrubo Banerjee’s third film (yet to be titled) after the blockbuster “Guptodhon” franchise.

Keeping in sync with the core theme of “Bangaliyana” and exploring “chena itihasher ochena dik” like his last two films, Dhrubo will weave his story inspired by true incidents from an extremely illustrious period of Bengal renaissance.

In a thrilling author backed role, Dev is back with SVF after the blockbuster Amazon Obhijaan.

The film will be shot during winter 2019 and is slated for a summer 2020 release. The cast of the film will be finalized soon.
