ESEDS School of Design in collaboration with iLEAD participated in a week long Fashion Revolution Week starting from 20th – 26th April, 2020 to campaign for a more sustainable change within the fashion industry. Fashion Revolution Week is a week of campaigning involving both online and offline activism that takes place around the anniversary of the Rana Plaza tragedy which took place on 24th April, 2013.

It was a week long event with posters and videos made by the design students on #whomademyclothes campaign, workshops on zero waste & styling along with an interactive Instagram live sessions with sustainable design labels from across India discussing different aspects of ethics, transparency and responsibility along with the future of sustainable design in India and the way forward. The esteemed panel of speakers were in conversation with Mr. Aloke Kumar Singh, Co-Founder & Creative Director of ESEDS where they discussed their approach to sustainability & ethical practices within their design labels and also their future plans post Covid -19 pandemic situation.

  2. Ms. Ankita Dokania, Co Founder/Designer of Label Suta & Co. and Creative Director of Ankita Exports Pvt. Ltd.
  3. Ms. Pooja Gupta,  Founder/Designer Label Door of Maai & Regional Representative (East )of Fashion Revolution India.
  4. Ms. Priyanka Golcha, Founder/ Designer of International Label Burrow.
  5. Mr. Harshul Arora, Founder/ Designer of International Label Dagdai.
  6. Ms. Manali Shah, Founder/Designer of Brand Threadology.
  7. Ms. Varsha Savla,Founder/Designer of Brand UV Creations

“Changemakers” of Sustainability within the Design Industry at ESEDS School of Design – iLEAD  was also celebrated during this Fashion Revolution Week.
