India’s top manufacturer of commercial electric vehicles, Altigreen, unveiled its brand-new neEV Tez, the fastest-charging 3-wheeler in the world. The neEV Tez from Altigreen has a 3-in-1 connector that offers the user the option of choosing between Normal, Fast, or Superfast charging. The neEV Tez has a 5-year standard warranty and requires 15 minutes to fully charge at an e-pump, up to an hour at a Bharat DCOO1 charging station, or 3.5 hours to fully charge using an ordinary 220V/16A power outlet.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Debashis Mitra, Director – Sales, Service & Marketing, Altigreen, and Mr. Rishab, Managing Partner, Platinum Trucking, among others.

20 neEV Tez vehicles were delivered to cargo aggregator Platinum Trucking as part of the neEV Tez’s formal debut by Altigreen in Kolkata. For last-mile delivery, the company intends to connect the cars to Amazon Fresh. Platinum Trucking chooses the dependable neEV Tez in order to use its assets for several journeys, maximizing efficiency and lowering operational expenses.

Altigreen neEV Tez charges in under 15 min. They are the 1st in the industry to introduce Smart Flexi-charging options in neEV Tez. With neEV Tez coming in last-mile delivery, it can directly compete with existing ICE-driven vehicles in the fleet. By switching to an EV fleet, logistics companies can drastically reduce their operational cost, enhance their fleet utilization, and finally gain carbon credit points due to Zero emissions.

EV fleet productivity is currently limited, and freight business owners must deal with a few pressing problems including lengthy vehicle charging times, variable charging experiences, and the requirement that 3PL participants establish their own hubs to address both charging and parking. Additionally, because EVs take too long to charge, customers who want to operate two shifts (around 16 hours) must deploy two of the cars, reducing flexibility and raising operating costs.

In contrast to the industry average of 3.5 hours, the Altigreen neEV Tez powered by Exponent offers 1-hour charging on the DC001 network and a 15-minute full charge at an e-pump, resolving efficiency and operational difficulties with the fleet of EVs of last-mile delivery aggregators. In contrast to the industry average of 1000 cycles, the car and battery come with a 3000-cycle life warranty with 100% quick charging. Customers may now work two shifts in the same vehicle thanks to the neEV Tez, enhancing their productivity and earnings. Additionally, clients don’t need to install charging hubs when using a public e-pump network, which increases earnings even more!
