Great Participation At Street Rally Fight Cancer, Save Life

The Indian Council of Medical Research-National Cancer Registry Programme projects that there will be 15.7 lakh cancer cases in the nation by 2025, up from 14.6 lakh in 2022. As a result, there is a need to make the common people aware of this disease and help in detecting it at the earliest. Early detection ensures better recovery from the disease and more chances of survival.

Understanding this need, a street rally titled Fight Cancer, Save Life was organized by Resurrection, a government-registered public charitable trust.

This street rally was organized in association with IP Memorial School, Liluah, Howrah.

This street rally aimed to generate awareness of this deadly disease- Cancer.

School children, guardians, teachers, and members of Resurrection along with Oncologist Dr. Kishore Kumar Roy graced the occasion.

With this initiative, awareness about cancer was spread among the common people.
