Actor Karan Aanand was born and brought up on 4 January 1981 in Allahabad, UP, in a very renowned family. His father’s name is Mr. Om Babu a (National Hockey Player) and his mother’s name is Mrs. Shankuntala Gupta. Karan Aanand is an actor known for his amazing acting in Baby (2015), Lupt (2018).

He got his first role in the telly film ‘Amrut Kumbh’ where he portrayed the character of ‘Lakshmana’. In Mumbai, Karan joined the theatre group ‘Ekjute’, and stayed very active in the theatre till he got his first break in the TV show ‘Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Johur’ (2009).

He was appreciated a lot for his role in the serial ‘Kabhi Toh Milke Sab Bolo’, which also received awards from Bihar Governor and Lions Club. His acting is not only bound to the Hindi movies. He has worked in movies in other languages such as ‘Kable Aai Bahar’ (Bhojpuri) and ‘Ami Shubhash Bolchi’ (Bengali).

Karan Aanand’s first appearance in films was through the Bollywood film ‘Gunday’ and this was followed by ‘Kick’, where his action scenes were praised. But he received recognition for his spy act in ‘Baby’. Karan had also done a cameo in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Calendar Girls’.

The actor prefers challenging roles even if the part is small. Another successful movie is ‘Rangeela Raja’, directed by Pahlaj Nihalani released in November 2018. He got the chance to share the screen with Govinda.

His other projects include ‘Aaina’ based on lockdown which was directed by Bobby Khan. Recently he completed the shooting of the film ‘It’s over’ during Lockdown, which will be releasing soon.
