Medica and South Asian Liver Institute (SALI) jointly aim to bring liver disease treatment and liver transplantation in the Eastern region on par with the rest of the world. Medica Hospitals launched the Medica Centre for Liver Disease in association with SALI, a Tom Cherian initiative.

Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist De Pradeepta Kumar Sethy, Director of Gastroenterology, Medica Superspecialty Hospital graced the occasion and highlighted on the different aspects of the hospital.

Medica Centre for Liver Disease has been created for the aim of meeting the growing requirement of liver conditions in Eastern India. The centre is equipped to handle different kinds of diseases of liver, pancreas and gall bladder.

With the help of this initiative, every kind of treatment will be available in Kolkata and the patients will not have to travel to other places to get themselves treated.
