Director Tamal Sen’s short film Dui Shalik will be releasing on 20th October 2020 on YouTube.

Tamal Sen is the screenplay writer for the first season of ZEE5’s 2018 web series Kaali. He is currently wrapping up scripting of the upcoming Netflix show Mai produced by Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate Films. He is also co-writing a web series for Amazon Prime Video.

Dui Shalik is the story of two lonely middle-aged souls, connecting with each other without sharing a single conversation. Partha is an under-confident man who meets Sanchari daily on their way to work, separated by the ladies and men’s seating area on the bus. Curiosity gives way to longing, as Partha fall for Sanchari. Will he be able to tell her how he feels?

The film is presented PC Chandra Jewellers.

The cast of the film consists of Ananya Chatterjee, Rajatava Dutta, Avrajit Chakraborty, Tapati Munshi.

The screenplay is by Tamal Sen while the story and additional dialogues are by Ambarish Majumdar.

The music and background music is by Anirban Ajoy Das.

Debojit Saha and Ambarish Majumdar are the producers of this short film.

A good storyline and a great cast promise that the short film will be one worth watching.
