“Mon Manchhe Na Aar is a positive song. Whenever you listen to my song, you do not feel depressed. There is always positivity in my songs and this song is no different” said Usha Uthup at the song launch of Mon Manchhe Na Aar.

Also gracing the occasion was Dev, Riad Dipanjan Saha, CEO, INRECO & Hindusthan Record, Rajib Dutta, and others.

Usha Uthup recorded her debut Bengali song Aha Tumi Sundari Koto Kolkata with Hindusthan Record in 1978. It is after 44 years that she has reunited with the music label for releasing a new Bengali song.

The song has been penned by Rajib Dutta and composed by Suvajit Ray.\

“Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore, Pankaj Kumar Mallick, K. L. Saigal, Sachin Deb Burman, Ustad Bade Gulam Ali Khan, and many more legendary musicians have worked with Hindusthan Record. To again work with this music label has been a great experience for me” said Usha Uthup.

The song Mon Manchhe Na Aar is the second song and this has been released first by the music label. The first song which will be released next is Mon Bhalo Theko.

The song shows Usha Uthup as the protagonist and the hero and heroine come to Trincas for their 20^th anniversary. How they met each other will be shown in the other song Mon Bhalo Theko.

Dev who was present for the music launch was given Bhai Phonta by Usha Uthup.

Speaking at the event, Dev said “I am honored that I could be a part of Usha di’s special day. She has been entertaining the audience for so many years. I have grown up listening to her songs. And the fact that she called me on such a special day means a lot to me. I feel privileged”.

Regaling her memories of working at Trincas as a club singer, Usha Uthup said “I am proud that I began my career as a club singer. There is a picture of me still hanging on the walls of Trincas. I was thin then though. But it has been a fantastic journey”.

The singer hoped that the audience will love the new concept of revealing the climax first and then revealing the origin story next with these two video songs.
