The music album Earth-Folk Music Of India was released in the presence of Pandit Tanmoy Bose, Nilanjan Ghosh, Koushik Chakraborty, and others.

Nilanjan Ghosh has arranged the music of this album. The folk songs are from different regions of India. These are not only Bengali folk songs. The thing they had to remember while making this album was that they had to focus on the rhythm and the use of the percussion instruments. The percussion was used differently in different states. And while arranging the music, they had to keep this in mind.

There are eight songs on the album.

“I have been working with folk music for so many years and the moment I listened about the concept of the album, I immediately liked it. This album has an archival value and there are so many young artists working together. I am yet to listen to the album. But I hope that the album will be a great success” said Pandit Tanmoy Bose.

The artists who are associated with this album are Shweta Mohan, Hriti Tikadar, Soumya Murshidabadi, Anushree Gupta, Anushka Patra, Arkadeep Mishra, Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury, Koushik Chakraborty, and Nilanjan Ghosh.

The event was hosted by Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee.
