Bira-91

Yuzu Gose Sour was launched by Bira 91 in collaboration with Far Yeast Brewing Company, one of Japan’s most innovative brewing companies. A Gose-style beer is traditionally a wheat beer with low hop bitterness and a refreshing crispness.

The ‘Yuzu Gose Sour’ is made with Himalayan Pink Salt from India and Yuzu peel, a traditional Japanese citrus fruit grown in Kochi Prefecture and used to make Kagua, a popular Japanese ale. The ingredients combine to create the ideal sour beer, a style that is popular in both countries.

Through this collaboration, the brand wishes to celebrate the 70th year of diplomatic friendship between the two countries.

The beer was launched at the Bira 91 Limited Release Taproom in Koramangala, Bangalore.
