Modi explained how he had campaigned for the Lok Sabha by engaging with the nation and the world at large. Namo said, “Although many people were surprised by the results of the last Loksabha elections, they placed their hopes in Modi, who had opened people’s eyes to new possibilities”.

What distinguishes the 2024 election from the others? “There is nothing new about the vote. I have a lot of experience carrying out votes from various organisations. Then I was given the chance to run in Gujarat elections for the first time. I’m in a different role now” said Modi.

Namo chastised the Left administration for its 35 years of dominance in Bengal and said that the TMC was further responsible for the state’s collapse.
