Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta have been mesmerizing audiences for many years now. But the most important news is that they have done 49 films together till now. And they will soon be seen in their 50^th film together titled Ajogya.

The logo launch of the film was unveiled at Flurys in the presence of the director Kaushik Ganguly, Rituparna Sengupta, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Shrikant Mohta.

Speaking at the event, Kaushik Ganguly said “The love that Prosenjit and Rituparna’s pair has received from the audience is amazing. Without the love and support of the audience, no hero or heroine will be able to feature in 50 films together. I am very sure that no other hero-heroine pair in the world has featured in so many films together. This movie will indeed be a great gift for the fans of both these talented actors”.

Prosenjit Chatterjee said “The best thing about working with Kaushik Ganguly is he tells a story simply. Yet he manages to capture the minds of the audience. This is what attracts me to his style of filmmaking. This is a great story and the audiences will surely find it appealing when the film is released”.

Rituparna Sengupta exuded charm in black Indian attire. “I feel I am blessed that I have received such love and adulation from the audience over so many years. Without their support, I would not have been able to work in so many films opposite Prosenjit Chatterjee. The director is such a calm person. It is amazing to work with him. It is my second film with the director. I hope that I have lived up to his expectations” said the actress.

Shrikant Mohta revealed that he would have stopped producing films had Sasurbari Zindabad not worked. He thanked Prosenjit and Rituparna for making the film such an amazing hit.

The release date of the film was not disclosed at the moment by the makers.
