The Russian Education Fair 2022 was presented by the Russian House in Kolkata in collaboration with Rus Education for students hoping to study in Russia. The Russian Center of Science and Culture, Gorky Sadan, organized the fair. The fair was formally inaugurated by Mr. Alexey Idamkin, Consul General of The Russian Federation in Kolkata.

Russian Education Fair is being held in Delhi, Mumbai, Trivandrum, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. This fair is specifically designed to assist Indian students who want to pursue further education in Russia in the fields of medicine, engineering, and aviation, to name a few.

The participating Universities in the Kolkata Fair were Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (National Research University), Ulyanovsk State Technical University, Peter The Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Astrakhan State University, Orenburg State Medical University, Mari State University,  Perm State Medical University, Ural Federal University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow State Regional University.

Top Universities from Russia gathered under one roof at the prestigious event. It was a free platform that allowed all students to assess their chances, apply directly to the school of their choice, and get first-hand information on a variety of topics, including courses, scholarship seats, the availability of Indian food at universities, complete passport and visa assistance, document preparation for students, and housing options provided by universities.
