Kolkata-Book-Launch

The book Shadows of the Fragmented Moon published by Hay House India was launched at Oxford Bookstore. Shubhrangshu Roy, the book’s author, conversed with Sayan Mukherji, a renowned musician, and thinker, as well as veteran journalist and author Aditi Roy Ghatak.

This literary event took place at the century-old Oxford Bookstore and began with the book’s launch. After that, Shubhrangshu Roy engaged in an open discussion about mysticism, philosophy, Indian culture, poetry, and his book.

A collection of 108 mystical English poems called Shadows of the Fragmented Moon: A Time Travel into the Depths of Mind explores the human mind to free it from trauma and delusion. The Yoga Vasistha and the Ashtavakra Gita, two classical Sanskrit works, served as inspiration for the poems.

Roy said “In the past two years, we have been visited by immense mental trauma as an unseen, invisible virus forced us into repeated isolation, resulting in widespread job loss, unjustified pay cuts, abandoned homes, neglected childhoods, and miserable deaths. I created “Shadows of the Fragmented Moon” to offer comfort, mercy, and redemption to our wounded souls while coping with our worst nightmares and maintaining hope for a better tomorrow. For the benefit of lay people who cannot afford costly and time-consuming modern psychiatric intervention, the book unlocks the wisdom of our ancient seers. It can serve as a manual for those who care for victims of mental health trauma.
