Ekshoy Baro stands for twelve selective art works two per month to celebrate his birth centenary year. Satyajit Ray worked for an advertising company and he used to design all his promotional creatives by his own-be it posters, booklets, cover for magazines, illustrations for books. He even he designed the postal stamp released by the India Post on Rabindranath Tagore’s birth centenary year.

Devajit Bandopadhyay said that he had met Ray due to his father’s connection with him. He did not understand then the charisma of the film maker. It is now that he understands whom he had met during that time.
