Dwitiyo Basanta narrates the tale of two mature people who have lost the love of their lives. While the heroine (Sohini) and her son are being deceived by her husband, the hero (Rajdeep) loses his wife and the mother of his child in an accident. As the narrative progresses, we learn how these two people discover purpose in their lives. What will occur when their paths collide?

Will things start over again? Will love win out or is this all a setup? Who is going to give in? Is being a single parent a compromise or a choice?

The serial’s cast consists of Rajdeep Gupta, Sohini Guha Roy, Dwaipayan, Jasmine Roy, Goutam Halder, Anusree Das, Biplab Dasgupta, Chumki Chowdhury and others.

“This is the story of a single mother and has an important social message. It shows the duties and responsibilities of the mother who is raising her child single-handedly. Many people criticize single parents. Maybe with this serial, many issues can be normalized” said Sohini.

Rajdeep said, “The story is unique but is devoid of many twists and turns. The story is simple and one that the audience will be able to relate with”.

Amit Das directs the serial.
