Musician Surojit Chatterjee, Swagat Sengupta, Director of Apeejay Bangla Sahitya Utsob and Tridib Kumar Chattopadhyay, Publisher at Patra Bharati and co-presenter of the festival graced the occasion and unveiled the theme music.

Since literature and music are intertwined with each other, the festival organizers thought of introducing theme music for the literary festival which is in its fifth year.

Surojit Chatterjee who is behind the composition of the theme music said that he had been attending the literary festival for the past two years.  When he was asked to compose the theme music for the festival, he kept in mind the great writers of Bengal. He did not want to restrict the thinking capacity of the audience by adding lyrics to the theme music. So the theme music has a sweet tune which will enable people to think out of the box. Tabla, Sitar and Flute are some of the instruments which have been used in the composing of the theme music.

The literary festival which began at Oxford Bookstore moved on to Apeejay House Lawns and after that was organized at the legendary Jorasanko Thakurbari.
