On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Indian independence, the singers of Zee Bangla Saragamapa, who later founded their own musical group called “Eso Bondhu,” performed a brand-new version of the national anthem of India, “Vandemataram-Tumi Maa”.

The former participants were Gourab Sarkar, Kinjal Chattopadhyay, Aritra Dasgupta, Arkadeep Mishra, Abhratanu Ghosh, Gurujeet Singh, Tanmoy Biswas, Arfin Rana, Raktim Chowdhury, Samadipta Mukherjee, Chandrika  Bhattacharya, Jyoti Sharma, Rishita Saha, Sonali Banerjee, and Somdatta Das.

The original song Vandemataram represented the motherland and this new composition Tumi Maa represents the real-life mothers in flesh and blood. The song blends both of the mothers in the song. The song also has a rap that similarly represents both the mothers.
