Pariah Vol-1 since its announcement has been grabbing attention for all the right reasons. Now the makers have made heads turn by unveiling a 110-foot cut-out featuring Vikram Chatterjee.

This initiative is the first of its kind in Eastern Indian cinema.

The cutout was unveiled at Mani Square Mall.

Pariah means outcast. The stray Indian dogs are known as Pariah. Vikram’s character takes up the onus of protecting the stray dogs as no one fights for them.

Pariah Vol-1 is directed by Tathagata Mukherjee. “I believe in the future there will be more films who will be making even bigger cutouts of their films. But since we have started this, I feel proud as the director. We hope that the film receives the same amount of love and adulation from the audience too” said the director.

The cast of the film consists of Vikram Chatterjee, Soumya Mukherjee, Angana Roy, Sreelekha Mitra, Loknath Dey, Debashish Roy, and others.

Speaking at the event, Vikram Chatterjee said “I am honored as a Bengali actor that this kind of initiative could be done. I am thankful to the producers as well for supporting such an initiative. This is something that has happened in Eastern Indian movies for the first time and I am glad that this is a film that I am a part of”.

This has not only fuelled the expectation of the audience for the film but also helped in spreading the word about the film.

Pariah Vol-1 releases on 9th February.
