Shrachi Sports Ventures LLP and Servotech Power Systems Limited have been named by the Cricket Association of Bengal as two of the eight Franchise Owners of the upcoming Bengal Pro T20 League. It is scheduled to take place in June of this year, just after the Indian Premier League for both men and women.

Following the announcement of each of the eight owners in the coming days, the Association will assign the franchise owners to their respective catchment zones. Each team, which consists of 16 players for the women’s team and 17 players for the men, will represent several districts in Bengal as part of its catchment area.

“We at Shrachi Group extend our gratitude and thanks to the CAB, especially the President, for taking us on board. Bengal Cricket is undoubtedly entering a new age, and as devoted partners, we will work hand in hand with other Franchise owners under the Association’s direction to make the League the greatest in the nation and support our gifted players as they pursue even greater success. As a team, we’ll concentrate heavily on fostering cricket at the local level in the designated catchment area to help more hidden talents emerge and realize their full potential” said Rahul Todi, founder of Shrachi Group.

“Bengal Pro T20 will not only assist in identifying talent from throughout Bengal, but we, as the teams’ custodians will make sure that they receive the support and direction they need to reach their greatest potential on the pitch,” said Raman Bhatia, Managing Director of Servotech Power Systems Limited.

The Bengal Pro T20 League is India’s first franchise cricket competition managed by a State Association that fields teams for both men and women. Both teams will play a total of 31 games this season.
