CAHO is a non-profit organization that represents hospitals, diagnostic centers, and quality specialists with the main goals of enhancing patient safety through hospital staff fire safety training, quality through healthcare professionals’ communication skills, and accreditation within the healthcare ecosystem.

CAHO was set up in 2008 by Dr. Nagendra Swami.

The 8^th International Conference CAHOCON 2024 will take place for the first time in Kolkata on the 6^th and 7^th of April at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre.

A press conference was organized to announce this event. It was graced by Dr. Vijay Agarwal, President of CAHO, Dr.Lallu Joseph, Secretary of CAHO, Rupak Barua, Chairman, Organising Committee, CAHOCON 2024, Dr. Shankar Sengupta, Secretary, Organising Committee, CAHOCON 2024 and other eminent guests.

CAHOCON 2024 is supported by The International Society for Quality in Healthcare, The Asian Society for Quality in Healthcare, and the Quality Council of India.

The theme for CAHOCON 2024 is Making Healthcare Efficient, Effective, Economical, and Equitable.

Speakers from the USA, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Dubai, Turkey, and more will attend the conference.

Pre-conference workshops will be organized at leading hospitals across Kolkata.

The international conference will also recognize excellence in this field through Process Excellence, Best CSSD, Young Quality Achiever, Quality Champion, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dr. Sreedhara Panicker Somanath, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will inaugurate CAHOCON 2024.
