Eminent music composer and music director Debojyoti Mishra organized a solo painting and installation exhibition, after a period of seven years. The exhibition was titled “Shadows of Songs”.

Debojyoti’s last art exhibition in collaboration with ICCR was held in the year 2012 which garnered widespread appreciation and all the paintings were sold in record time.

This exhibition dealt with the regimentation of music. Along with that, he used human migration as one of the predominant topics of his paintings.

The inauguration of the exhibition took place in presence of Tanushree Shankar, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Anik Dutta, Atanu Ghosh Filmmaker, Rupam Islam and other eminent personalities.

This exhibition featured his 130 paintings and five installations. The exhibition took place at Harrington Street Centre.
