The market for household insecticides in India is presently estimated to be worth over Rs 5,000 crore, with liquid vaporisers making up around Rs 2,800 crore and exhibiting strong growth. Mosquitoes can travel around the house, while traditional liquid vaporizers are made to stay attached to set plug points. This necessitates the development of a more adaptable technology that can protect against mosquitoes in various locations without being constrained by the presence of a plug point.
