With the aim of spreading awareness and changing trends in the field of critical care, ISCCM Kolkata Chapter organized their East Zone Critical Care Conference 2019.

The biggest zonal conference in critical care witnessed a footfall of 500 zonal and national faculty and delegates.

Dr Sourav Kole, President, ISCCM, Dr Sauren Panja, Secretary, ISCCM, Swami Satyeshananda, Assistant General Secretary, Ramkrishna Mission and Ramkrishna Math and others graced the inauguration ceremony.

Critical Care has the sole aim of raising awareness of issues faced by critical care professionals to foster a holistic collaboration among the critical care team to improve the care quality for critically ill patients.

Critical care or emergency are facing a tough situation as they face violence and are hassled day in an out in the clinical area. The main focus of the discussion was to improve the situation and eradicate the fear of the clinicians to deliver quality care at affordable prices.

Innovative sessions like panel discussion, thematic sessions, pro-con debate, oration ceremony, quiz session, debate, TED talk and others were also organized at the annual conference.
