Parvati leaves Kailash out of pride (abhimaan) and goes to Bindho-Porbot. Famine strikes the universe due to Parvati’s self-exile. The departure of Annapurna causes hardships for the people of the world.

Shiv struggles to gather food. Ganesha and Nandi-Bhiringi go to Bindho and pleads with Parvati to return back to Kailash. Seeing the helpless and poverty-stricken people, Parvati returns to Kailash. The universe is fertile again as Shiv-Parvati reunites.
