What happens when a Muslim girl tries to get herself accepted into a conservative Hindu family?? This is what Zee Bangla’s new serial Nakshikatha will reveal.

This is a love story revolving around two religious communities~Hindu and Muslim. Shabnam is a talented Muslim girl who has the dream of becoming a doctor. Her family however do not want her to become a doctor. She is unable to save herself from a forced marriage.

Shabnam runs away from the marriage only to accidentally get married to Yashojeet, who was once her senior at medical college. And from there starts her journey of getting accepted in a rigid Hindu family and also maintaining her religious beliefs along with pursuing her career as a doctor with the help of her husband.

Manali Dey is making her comeback to the small screen after quite some time. The actress who had made her presence felt in films like Praktan, Nimki Phulki ans others will be seen as Shabnam in the serial. Suman Dey will be seen as Yashojeet in the serial.

Nakshikatha will be aired from 12th November onward Monday – Friday, 9.30 pm only on Zee Bangla.
