Nuclear families are in trend in recent times. But what will happen if one can go back to the joint family system once again. This is what is explored in the upcoming Bengali film Galpo Jodi Sotti Hoy.

The shooting of the film is currently in progress in different parts of the city.

Bitan Guha is the producer while Suvendu Banerjee is the director of the film.

Devlina Kumar, Anirban Bhattacharya, Manoj Mitra, Biswanath Basu, Sanjoy Biswas and others will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

Devlina Kumar plays Roma, a college going girl in the film. Her parents died at a young age and she is raised by her grandfather. The actress mentioned that she is having a fun time shooting the film. However the cold is making it impossible for her to shoot the scenes on the rooftop in the cold weather.

Biswanath Basu plays the youngest son of the family, Rajen. He is not respected by the other members of the family. He is a singer by profession. He slowly gains prominence due to his profession.

The actor mentioned he was drawn to the script and the wonderful cast due to which he said yes to acting in the film.

Sanjib Sarkar is the music director of the film. The film has three songs.

The film is eyeing for release during February-March 2020.
