Murshidabad Heritage Festival 2020 Announced; Festival Scheduled From 24th to 26th January
Murshidabad Heritage Festival 2020 is organized by Murshidabad Heritage Development Society. A press-meet was organized to announce this festival.
The Murshidabad Heritage Development Society was founded in 2010 by Sheherwali Community with the main aim of restoring and reviving heritage in Azimganj and Jiaganj.
The festival would take place recently at the recently restored Katgola Palace in Lalbagh which showcases the fusion of Mughal, British and Hindu architecture. The festival is being celebrated since the past ten years with the main objective of restoring and reviving the heritage.
The program will also consist of sightseeing of Heritage monuments, palaces and museums, light and sound show, lunch, dinner and breakfast at different heritage places and heritage walk.
With the help of this festival, MHDC wants the people to know about the heritage and charm of the forgotten capital city.
The festival has the sole aim of attracting students, history lovers, heritage enthusiasts, investors, travel and tour agents and also general tourists.
The festival is scheduled from 24th to 26th January 2020 in Murshidabad.
