The first look teaser launch of the upcoming Bengali film Antardhaan took place in the presence of the director Arindam Bhattacharya, Parambrata Chatterjee, Tnusree and others.

The story is about a couple Anirban (Parambrata) and Tonu (Tnusree) who moves to Kasauli with their daughter Zinia. Zinnia goes missing one day. What happens next is what the story of the film all about.

“What I liked about Antardhaan is the story of the film. Despite being an outsider in the film industry, director Arindam has come up with a great story. His earlier films were also appreciated by the audiences and critics. There is an element of mystery in the film. That made me interested in doing this film” said Parambrata.

The director who is from Delhi was adept with the locales of Himachal Pradesh and its surrounding areas. So due to the demand of the script and also because of his knowledge about the surroundings, the director shot the film in such pristine locales. The director also revealed that he was a fan of the thrillers of Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie.

Mamata Shankar, Sujan Neel Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta, and Harsh Chhaya will be seen in other important roles in the film.

Tnusree liked the script and that is what made her say yes to doing the film. “We were actually destined to plan shoot somewhere else. However due to some problems in that location, we shot in Kasauli. Arindam da had shot in Kasauli and he knew about the weather which would suit the story well” said the actress.

The thriller has been shot in beautiful locations of Himachal Pradesh like Kasauli.

The music is by Ratul Shankar.

The film is eyeing for release on 17^th April.
