Aakash Aath will be coming up with a new fun filled musical program Gaan Point. The press meet of the program was organized in the presence of Jojo, director Sangit Tiwari, Shilajit Majumdar, Eshita Surana, Director of Aakash Aath, Priyanka Surana, Non-Fiction Head, Aakash Aath, Monomoy Bhattacharya, Ankita, Sneha and others.

The new show will be anchored by Shilajit Majumdar. “Whatever questions I am asking to the guests is due to the management. I do not have such naughty ideas. My friends who will be coming to the show know about me and hence they will not be surprised. But newcomers will be shocked with the questions at times. But you must remember that those are not my questions” said the singer-anchor.

Gaan Point is a musical show where two renowned singers will be invited from different genres at Shilajit’s cafe Kachchhap. The audience will get to know about their favourite singer up close and personal in the show.

Different types of weird menu will be available for the invitees and these will be provided by the anchor to the invited guests. The cafe has been named Kachchhap as time is taken to prepare the dishes.

The musical show will have four rounds- Porda Phash, Nagordola-Dichhe Paak, Gaitey Thaak, Bolche Jokhon Gaitey Hobe and Enjoy Guru. Lastly there will be an audience request segment where the singers will have to sing one of their songs which have been requested by an audience.

Some of the performers who will be seen in the musical show are Poushali, Sohoj Maa and others.

Jojo and Monomoy Bhattacharya will be seen in one episode. “I sing songs which are different from the ones that Monomoy sings. We are having a blast shooting the episode. When you have Shilajit as the anchor, you know that apart from regular things, many irregular things will also come out in the course of the chat. I will be singing a song which is not which I sing usually” said Jojo.

Monomoy will be seen performing Rang Barse at the musical show. The singer was excited as he got the chance to sing a song which was different from what he is always asked to sing.

The musical extravaganza will begin from 20^th February, every Thursday to Saturday from 9.30 pm.
