Upcoming short film See Saw by award winning documentary and short film director Prajna Dutta is a mythological reinterpretation of the episode of Bhasmasura, Mahadeva and Vishnu who transforms into Mohini. The short film is set in modern times with an espionage background.

The character of Vishnu and Mohini is played by Rupsha Guha while the characters of Bhasmasura and Mahadev are played by Shom Chaudhury and Arthur Cardozo. The director also highlighted that there is a layer within the film which is inspired from Lili Elbe’s book “Man into Woman”. According to Rupsha the sub text within the text of the screenplay makes her character even more challenging and she is eagerly looking forward to how things shape up.

Though a short film the style of film making will not be compromised and though the budget is a shoe string one, Prajna will put in his skills to convert it into a masterpiece for the audience.
