Kolkata’s Child In Need Institute has been recognized by Harvard University for its unique Before, Not After method. This is a unique initiative of CINI to prevent the violation of the rights of the child before they occur in India. Soumitra Chatterjee was present to unveil this recognition.

Soumitra Chatterjee congratulated the NGO for their work. He also mentioned that the good work of the NGO will be able to bring light into the lives of many kids.

Child in Need Institute has applied this CINI method that involves communities, the rural and urban local self-government and service providers, networking them together and providing them the tools to devise local development plans within the framework of national and international policy.
