Zee Bangla’s serial Phirki gained much popularity since its launch. The story narrates the story of a transgender woman and her daughter. She had picked up the orphaned girl child and raises her as her own daughter.

Phirki has grown up and is pursuing her studies to become a lawyer. Lokkhi is very happy as her wish has come true after a lot of hurdles.

Phirki’s ultimate aim is to bring to limelight and fight for the rights of the third gender and break the taboos.

Phirkis childhood friend Niladri’s comes back and proposes marriage to Phirki against his family’s wish. Will Niladri and Phirki get married to each other? How will Lokkhi and Niladri’s family react to their marriage? Will Phirki get acceptance in Niladri’s house?

Sampriti Poddar will be seen as Phirki and Shayan Mukherjee will be seen as Niladri.

The new episodes will be aired from 27^th of July onward on Zee Bangla.
