Zee Bangla’s new serial Jiban Sathi will mark the debut of Bengali actress Indrani Dutta in the world of mega serials. She will be seen playing the role of Shalankara.

The serial is about Priyam who is not quintessentially pretty and she gets married to a man who was supposed to get married to her sister Jhelum- a beautiful young woman. Through many struggles post her marriage, Priyam slowly starts to shine with the glow of her talent, in her husband’s eyes. But her whole life changes when her husband brings back home, her widowed sister Jhelum. What will happen to her marriage? Can she finally have a regular married life that is full of love and respect?

Presented by Blues Production, the serial is produced by Snehashis Chakroborty and will be directed by Bidyut Saha.

The serial will be aired from 5^th October 2020 onwards at 8 PM, Monday – Saturday on Zee Bangla.
