CM Mamata Banerjee Inaugurated Bhowanipur 75 Palli Durga Puja
The inauguration of Bhowanipur 75 Palli Durga Puja was done by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
The theme this year is Maa. This is the 56th year of the puja. The theme Maa is like a prayer to the Mother Goddess to eradicate the virus from the world and save humanity.
Sri Animesh Das is an artist who has come up with this theme. To take the puja on a global platform, the committee has tied up with LSU (London Sharod Utsav). They have come up with proper measures in place to ensure revelers maintain physical distance. The road leading to the pandal will not have barricades on its two sides. So social distancing can be well maintained.
