Kanyadaan is the story of a father Anjan Basu who is a History teacher by profession and his family consists of his five daughters. After the death of his wife, Anjan Basu had always been the guiding light and the support system to his daughters’ life, which paved its way even after they got married. He has always guarded his daughters with all his principles and ideals. The story shows the fact that even after marriage the responsibility of a father doesn’t fade out rather it increases as the daughter enters a new household.

The cast of the new serial consists of Arindam Ganguly, Manashi Sinha, Priya Malakar, Nilankur Mukhopadhyay, Riddhish Chowdhury, and others.

The production house of the serial is Chitrayan.

The new serial will begin from 7^th December at 8:30 pm (Mon-Sun) on Sun Bangla.
