The official poster of Arjunn Dutta’s upcoming film “Shrimati” is out now.

Shrimati is a sweet family story. It is a story of an upper middle class, simple, fun-loving, bit disorganized housewife madly in love with her husband named Sri who falls prey to society’s glitz and glamour and in the bargain loses her own identity. Sri’s husband Anindya and her loving family comprising of her son Kuttush, mother in law Pratima, sister in law Brishti, and maid Kajol is her constant support.

In today’s malevolent world, where the outer appearance means everything Sri falls victim to the cliched problem of overall personality and outward appearance that irks all the minds – from teenagers to adults and beyond. She becomes obsessed and in the process almost loses her mind and identity till the sudden realization that – irrespective of the way people think and the way the world goes – one should never forget the soul that dwells within.

The cast of the film consists of Swastika Mukherjee as Shrimati, Soham Chakraborty as Anindya, Barkha Bisht Sengupta as Mallika, Kheya Chattopadhyay as Kajol, Trina Saha as Brishti, Debjani Bose as Pratima, Sudarshan Chakravorty as Dance Teacher and Uday Pratap Singh as Gym Trainer.

The cinematographer of the film is Supratim Bhol (WICA) while the editor is Sujay Datta Ray. The music has been composed by Soumya Rit.

The story, the script is also by Arjunn Dutta. The film is presented by Kan Singh Sodha and the production house is KSS productions & Entertainment.
