The shooting of the web-series The Senapatis- Rise of Bengal’s Ganglord is in progress in different parts of Kolkata.

The story is about a family on the run from the ghosts of genocide only to become a power to reckon with between the years 1971 and 1985. How an innocent book seller from Dhaka becomes a Ganglord in Bengal is what will be shown with the help of this story.

The cast consists of Suvajit Kar, Prriyam Chakraborty, Subhadeep Banerjee and Chiradeep Mitra.

The story, script and direction are by Riingo Banerjee.

The web-series will be airing soon on Addatimes.
