Roja and Samujjal are university classmates and are in a relationship. While Roja comes from a rich family, Samujjal is from a lower-middle-class background. Roja’s influential father, who does not have an idea about her daughter’s relationship, fixes her marriage with Ankush. Ankush is from an equally rich and influential family. Roja cannot say anything to her father and she confesses her love for Samujjal to Ankush. She asks him to cancel the marriage. Ankush cancels the marriage.

The press meet of the serial took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the serial.

The role of Samujjal will be played by Arnab Choudhury while Piya Debnath will be seen in the role of Roja.

Milan Roy Choudhury, Reshmi Sen, Rahul Chakraborty, Rajashree Bhowmik, Poulami Das, Shuban Roy, Chandidas, Runa, Arghya Mukherjee, Malobika Sen, Monalisa Paul, and others will be seen in important roles in this new serial.

“Roja is from a rich family and she is a pampered girl. She lives in her own world as her family members did not have enough time to spend with her. When she goes out and interacts with people outside, she faces problems. It will be interesting for the audience to see Roja” said Piya.

Arnab said “Samujjal is a disciplined person and Roja is just his opposite. She is not at all disciplined. Now they are having a fight with each other in the serial. However, it will be interesting to see how they become attracted to one another despite so many differences in their personality”.

Kajori, the sister-in-law of Samujjal will be played by Poulami. “She has a friendly relation with her in-laws. She has a great bonding with Samujjal and will help him in the future whenever he faces any misfortune” said Poulami. This is the first serial of the actress and she is looking forward to her journey.

Sudeshna Bose, the mother of Roja will be played by Malobika Sen. Sudeshna is a disciplined person. She loves her daughter in her own way. She is very strict as her daughter is just her opposite.

The serial Roja will start airing from 19^th September, Monday to Sunday at 8.30 pm only on Enterr10 Bangla.
