Young Boys Club has chosen the theme as – “Durga – The Destroyer of Corona” for their Durga Puja theme.

The Puja was inaugurated by Sudip Bandyopadhyay, Member of Parliament, Sushil Kumar Singh, Member of Parliament, Meena Devi Purohit, Councillor, Smita Bakshi, Ex MLA, Sanjay Bakshi, Ex MLA, Shagufta Parveen, Councillor, Rehana Khatun, Councillor & Borough Co-ordinator and others.

Young Boys Club which turns 52 this year has come with a theme related to today’s situation that the entire world is facing.

During the pandemic, everyone was hoping and waiting for the Goddess Durga to eradicate the virus. The Durga Puja committee likewise is offering their prayers and hopes that she destroys coronavirus forever. The virus is still there. The Covid warriors without fearing for their life saved the common people. Therefore, this year the puja committee dedicated this theme to them. The theme also salutes the Covid warriors, which include doctors, cops, medical staff, cleaning staff, public transport drivers, and conductors.
