Meyeder Bratakotha Series To Show Next- Maa Sasthir Bratakotha
“Maa Sasthir Bratakotha” is the latest tale that will be shown in Meyeder Bratakotha Series.
Maa Sasthi is a highly revered Hindu goddess. She is not only held in high esteem in the heavens but also on the Earth. Bhaibabpur’s Zamindar Indranath Nagchowdhury’s wife Maya is one of the lucky few humans who have been blessed by Maa Sasthi. Maya was a beautiful lady but she did not have a child. The moment she gave birth to a child, the child used to die.
The news of the death of the child would be a source of good news for Sachikanta Nagchowdhury’s family. Sachikanta was the uncle of Maya’s husband. Sachikanta wanted her grandson to become the Zamindar. However, if Indranath has a son, then this wish will never be fulfilled. Hence, he engaged in black magic and wanted to harm Indranath and Maya.
Maya is advised to worship Maa Sasthi. However, Sachikanta protests against the worship of Maa Sasthi as they worship Kalbhairab. Can Maya worship Maa Sasthi? Can she become a mother?
There are different kinds of Pujas organized for worshipping Maa Sasthi in the twelve calendar months. Some of them are Aranya Sasthi, Loton Sasthi, Chapra Sasthi, Durga Sasthi, Mula Sasthi, Sital Sasthi, and many more.
Maa Sasthir Bratakotha is directed by Sumon Roy. The story has been written by Lovely Mukherjee.
The dialogues have been penned down by Tanmoy Kakali Goswami.
