“The Story Of Bhoy Peo Na Was Written Keeping Srabanti In Mind”-Debut Director Ayan Dey
The mahurat of the upcoming Bengali film Bhoy Peo Na took place in the presence of director Ayan Dey, Srabanti Chatterjee, and Om Sahani.
The film is a horror-thriller.
The story deals with a couple named Akash and Ananya Chatterjee. Akash is a doctor and Ananya is a corporate professional. After their marriage, paranormal activities start happening with her. Akash’s mother wants to drive her out of the house and scares her. However, things take a turn as a new mystery is unveiled.
Supriyo Bhowmik has written down the story of the film and the scripting has been done by the director.
This is director Ayan Dey’s debut feature film. “I wanted to do a horror film as not many films are made in this genre in Bengali film industry. Hence I wanted to make my debut film in this genre. The film does not have the stereotypes that one associate with a horror film” said the director.
The director had earlier directed short films and projects for OTT.
There are three songs in the film, out of which is an item number. Daboo is composing the music for this film.
The film is produced by Big Screen Production.
The shooting will start on 4th January. The film will be shot in different parts of Kolkata and Raichak.
The makers plan to release this film on Akshay Tritiya in 2022.
