Madhumita and Vikram Chatterjee will be pairing up for the first time together onscreen in SVF’s upcoming Bengali film ‘Kuler Achaar’.

The story of the film revolves around the willingness of a lady to keep her maiden surname and the comedic yet poignant complexities that revolve around the idea. Mithi is a young woman who does not want to change her surname after marriage. Vikram will play the role of Mithi’s supportive and liberal husband, Pritam.

Madhumita will be back after the huge success of ‘Cheeni’ and the acclaimed ‘Tangra Blues’.

Kuler Achaar is written and directed by Sudeep Das. This is his first collaboration with SVF. Mainak Bhaumik is the creative director for ‘Kuler Achaar’.

Indrani Haldar will be back on the big screen after a hiatus of almost five years. She will be seen playing Madhumita’s mother-in-law. Neel Mukherjee will be seen playing the role of Mithi’s father-in-law.

The music of the movie is composed by ‘Prosen Er Dol Bol’.

Kuler Achaar promises to be a good film with an amazing storyline and an interesting cast.
