“Ismart Jodi is unlike any other couple-centric show that you have watched on television. This is a very happy show. There will be fun tasks and the audiences will love watching this show” said Jeet at the digital press conference of the new show Ismart Jodi.

The reality show will have ten celebrity couples as the contestants. They will be seen playing fun games with host Jeet.

This is based on a Telegu couple-centric reality show. A Hindi version of the show has also been launched recently.

Renowned Bengali actor Abhishek Chatterjee who passed away recently was also one of the contestants. He shot for the show with his wife Sanjukta. It was on the sets of this show that he felt unwell and could not finish the shoot. However, his sudden demise left Jeet shocked.

The episodes that Abhishek Chatterjee shot will be aired soon.

Jeet had shared the screen with the late actor in a film.

Some of the participants of this show are Jeetu Kamal-Nabanita Das, Rupankar Bagchi and his wife, Kancha Badam fame Bhuban Badyakar and his wife, Samrat Mukherji-Moyna, Madhubani and Raja Goswami and others.

The show can be watched on Disney+Hotstar.

The show airs every Saturday and Sunday on Star Jalsha at 9.30 pm.
