SpiceJet collaborated with Windows Production and organized a surprise flash mob on the ‘Tapa Tini’ song from the movie, Belashuru, at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport.

This was SpiceJet’s way of paying tribute to the legendary Bengali film icons Soumitra Chatterjee and Swatilekha Sengupta.

The performance, which featured a team of 20 SpiceJet cabin crew and ground staff led by renowned Bengali actress Monami Ghosh, was held as a tribute to Late Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Late Swatilekha Sengupta for their final work together in Belashuru.

Belashuru, an endearing love story about an old couple who leaves a footprint in the sands of time, will be released in theatres on May 20, 2022, with SpiceJet as the official airline partner. The film also marks the final collaboration between Bengali film legends Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Swatilekha Sengupta, who play the main characters in the story.
