Dollar Industries Limited Unveiled Special Logo To Mark Its 50th Year
Dollar Industries Limited unveiled a Special Logo for marking the 50th year. The Special Logo was unveiled by Din Dayal Gupta, Founder, and Chairman Emeritus, Dollar Industries Limited, and Vinod Kumar Gupta, Managing Director, Dollar Industries Limited.
The Vision 2025 of the company was also shared at the press conference.
As part of its Vision 2025, Dollar has allotted Rs 120 crore for expansion and new launches. Dollar will be adding one more spinning mill in Dindugul and start a new world-class warehousing facility cum Hosiery Park at Jagdishpur in West Bengal. This will act as a centralized despatch center for easing out the logistics, enhancing the economy of scale, rationalization of staff and output and enhancing quicker delivery.
The 50-year special advertising campaign starring Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was also unveiled.
Yami Gautam has also been signed as their Brand Ambassador for the Dollar Missy segment. A new advertising campaign starring her would be launched soon.
Dollar will foray into the women’s lingerie segment with the launch of products like T-shirt Bra, Sports Bra, Strapless Bra, Sleep Bra, Nursing Bra, and others under the Dollar Woman category.
As part of the Green Mission Initiative, the existing 4MW Solar Power Plant will be increased to 2MW unit. This will take it to 6MW. The land has been bought in Tirupur and the knitting unit will be expanded. Dollar will also open 125 exclusive brand outlets in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities by 2025.
Dollar announced the association with Rajasthan Royals as their principal sponsor to enhance the visibility of the Athleisure range on the national level.
The company also has plans of expanding in the African countries after its success in the Middle East.
Under the CSR wing, Dollar Foundation has successfully started CSR activities that help to provide for society over the years. From this year, they will be installing 35 to 40 water kiosks at Delhi Metro Station and a similar number in and around Puri, Odisha by 2025. They will also be setting up eye testing camps for children at Sunderbans, West Bengal.
