The announcement of Aurora Film Corporation’s next film Mon-Potongo (Mindflies) was done in the presence of writer and director duo Rajdeep Paul and Sarmistha Maiti, producer Anjan Bose, Seema Biswas, and others.

The film is about an inter-faith couple who is in love with each other. They run away from their village as they fear persecution. Hence they take shelter on the city streets. They get accustomed to the harsh realities of life on the streets. The ambitious duo does not want to be crushed on the roads of the city.

They want to climb the social ladder so that they can get their much-desired “seat of power”. Their obsession to attain this seat leads them to meet different people. Their love falls apart and they move away from one another. What will happen next?

Speaking at the event, producer Anjan Bose said “I felt that as a producer, it is my duty to make films that appeal to the young generation. Young people do not like to be lectured and hence one should make films according to their liking. If one wants to bring the young people to the halls to watch Bengali films, they need to make films accordingly. And this film is a step towards fulfilling that aspiration”.

The cast of the film consists of Seema Biswas, Subhankar Mohanto, Baishakhi Roy, Amit Saha, Anindita Ghosh, Janardan Ghosh, Aninda Roy, Tribikram Ghosh.

The DOP of the film is Rana Pratap Karforma.

The music director is Avijit Kundu.
