Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan graced the press conference of the upcoming Bollywood film Jugjugg Jeeyo in Kolkata.

Jugjugg Jeeyo is all about family values and the film is a complete entertainer for the family.

The story revolves around Kuku (Varun) and Naina (Kiara)who decide to mutually divorce each other. When Kuku goes to tell his father Bheem (Anil Kapoor) about their decision, he learns that his father wants to leave his wife Geeta (Neetu Kapoor). What follows next?

Varun said “The film does not have the typical ending that is shown in Bollywood films with infidelity. It will surprise many audiences. It has a progressive ending. Give us a chance to surprise you and you will not be disappointed”.

Looking vibrant and sexy in a yellow dress, Kiara said “This is a family entertainer and since we began the promotions we have been eagerly waiting to come here and promote the film. This is a family film and the city of Kolkata will surely appreciate our effort”.

Speaking about Anil Kapoor, Kiara said “He was the youngest superstar on the sets of the film. The energy that he has at his age is wonderful. His energy and youthfulness are something that he has retained. We went for a mall promotion in Delhi and we were sometimes panting in between dancing. But he was bang on and always ready to jump and dance”.

Varun added that he had asked Anil Kapoor whether he was an alien.

The actress had seen the happy marriage of her parents and hence she believes in the institution of marriage. She however said that choosing the right person is important.

Both the actors said that Neetu Kapoor was the most punctual actor on the set.

On asked about the pressures of working with veteran actors like Anil Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Varun Dhawan said “The pandemic has changed us very much. I did not think that I will again get the chance to do film promotions or eat pastries at the food joints. Luckily the doctors and the scientists gave us that chance to live a normal life again. I am taking that chance and not thinking about any pressures”.

The film is directed by Raj Mehta.

The film stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Manish Paul, Prajakta Koli, Tisca Chopra, and others in pivotal roles.

The film is eyeing for release on 24^th June.
